Breaking news: Bayer Corporation relocating its corporate headquarters to one of several possible sites in Morris County in 2011-2012. They will bring 1200 jobs with them and will add up to 500 new hires. One of the proposed sites is the trade center in Mt. Olive. The other 2 are in Whippany and Morris Plains. ANY of these sites could bring a significant quantity of new buyers to Poet's Peak & Hunter's Ridge. A Mount Olive selection could mean significant new demand for housing in the price range of $400,000-$700,000. This would really turn things around for us in Poet's Peak and Hunter's Ridge. Stay tuned!

The Summer market has taken hold, and things are slow. So if you plan to list your home, now is the time to get ready for the Fall market. Things often pick up a bit after Labor Day.
